Trestle was founded by Kate, with a background spanning consumer goods marketing, hospitality, and counselling, food and human connection have always been at the centre of it.

After years of planning dinner parties for friends, endlessly flicking through cookbooks and magazines, reading the latest restaurant reviews, and exploring every new café worth knowing about, she decided to stop dreaming and start doing.

Every Trestle event is an attempt to bring that to life for someone else, at the moments that matter most.
